All internal IP's that forwards to assp should be defined as an ISP!
To prevent an specific PTR from being checked, put the PTR-string
converted to a regex in to 'validPTRRe'.
'noBlockingIPs' will not work in V2 - because it is a PTR check not an IP
check.

number of recipients has taken too long and the SMTP-timeout was
detected for the connection.
The SMTP-timeout is now ignored for

assp is useless. The reason is simple. Spammers who uses images to deliver

There are other, much better technologies available to detect a
'spam-image'. I'm still analyzing, how this could be implemented in assp.

It is set as "disabled" - Max Bytes and Error Max Bytes are set to
12000. None of this has changed in years. I don't need to store
entire message bodies, as they are never resent.

I've noticed this in the maillog after upgrading to 12030:

This is a new server, and I just copied my assp folder across from the old
one. Could this be the problem? (but the problem did not exist when using

fixed in assp 2.1.2 build 12032:
- the autoupdate for a Perl module on windows was not skipped, if the
module was registered as Mail::SPF instead of Mail-SPF
in the 'no update' file

I dont think that is is related to the perl or assp version.
It is impossible that a connection could be handled by two or more
threads. The only way is, that there are two connections from the same IP
are doing the same (mail).
I would say - try to debug. But if the reason is a memory collision

has you installed BerkeleyDB and the Perl module BerkeleyDB ?
Do you use BerkeleyDB for the internal Hashes - 'useDB4IntCache' ?
If not - try to setup this feature.
