Hi. I want asking a thing regarding Fermat City and the library quest that Clement has shown in his walkthrough. I am in metallic mode, and Ive done it. Ive found the student of magic in fermat inn and told me that I have the possibility to save in various save points. But, when I go to a save point, there is not the possibility to choose where I want to go. There is only a new option, that give me the possibility to go down the difficulty of the game. Ambro86, as far as I know you should pick the items that allow you to teleport between save points from someone in the inn. Then it should appear below the load option. The space and time magic can only be used at specific save points. The temple, the save point just before the faerie village, the save point outside Gerua village, and the save point outside the north gate of Fermat city. Hi, I want to point your attention to the Bladestorm article in the article section, because is very interesting and some things are very related to improve the use of Shadow Line. For example, if you install clip copy, with f12 you can copy last sentence using Nvda to clipboard. It is very useful, for example, in the first screen of Shadow Line, in which things arent copied automatically. Or, if you install from scratch a new Shadow Line version, you can set correct options without problems.Another cool thing is the program textgamepatch. Copying two files in Shadow Line folder, you dont have to switch anymore to japanese keyboard, and for me is useful because when closed Shadow Line, I Always forgot to switch to my default keyboard . Well, people have already seen my review on the game. I can understand why Seal reviewed it the way he did, there are a lot of things I want to see in games as well. There are a lot of games Id absolutely love to play, like Diablo, Skyrim and Fable, as well as pretty much any JRPG ever made. But the fact of the matter is, we cant play those games, and our only options for seeing them are either to watch a playthrough or get someone sighted to play with us. I suppose for some of them we can fumble around and try to play, but that seems even less appealing to me. So personally, this game gave me an experience I have never had before. Ive beaten a few good RPGs with my brother when we were younger, Ive fought some battles on RPGs and played some fighting games. I even completed Dissidia: Final Fantasy on my own, only needing help equipping abilities. But Shadow Line is the first real JRPG that I was able to win with no help from anyone sighted at all. On top o
 f that, the storyline and the ending especially are so impressive that theyre easily on par with some mainstream games Ive seen. Id go so far as to compare them to Final Fantasy, but theyd need a little more character development for that I think. Audio quality does not matter to me even one tiny bit, its all about the gameplay and plot. And even though there are some things Shadow Line is missing, like strategic bosses and weapon combos, it doesnt need all that complexity. Not every game needs to have customization, tons of weapons and items to collect and the most amazing combat system ever to be good, at least not in my opinion.Haramir, I understood what you were saying, but I still disagree. I did forget about the soldiers, and probably some other things as well. But I guess my question is, what exactly would you do? An RPG is usually an adventure game anyway, and they range everything from very simple like interactive fiction games with combat systems, Dragon Warrior or the first Final Fantasy, to games with a lot of complexity like Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger. Even Final Fantasy VII isnt that complex, especially not in terms of combat. You have a few characters, a few minigames, a semi-realtime combat system and some things to collect, and of course shops. But the focus was definitely on the plot and character development, and its regarded as one of the greatest RPGs of all time. Im sure that the guys over at Galaxy Laboratory will get better in time and make even cooler games in the future. Well, people have already seen my review on the game. I can understand why Seal reviewed it the way he did, there are a lot of things I want to see in games as well. There are a lot of games Id absolutely love to play, like Diablo, Skyrim and Fable, as well as pretty much any JRPG ever made. But the fact of the matter is, we cant play those games, and our only options for seeing them are either to watch a playthrough or get someone sighted to play with us. I suppose for some of them we can fumble around and try to play, but that seems even less appealing to me. So personally, this game gave me an experience I have never had before. Ive beaten a few good RPGs with my brother when we were younger, Ive fought some battles on RPGs and played some fighting games. I even completed Dissidia: Final Fantasy on my own, only needing help equipping abilities. But Shadow Line is the first JRPG comparable to a mainstream game that I was able to win with no help from anyo
 ne sighted at all. Ive beaten others, such as Morokumas RPGs and the BK games, but none of them gave me a feeling of satisfaction like beating the Shadow Line Full Voice game. On top of that, the storyline and the ending especially are so impressive that theyre easily on par with some mainstream games Ive seen. Id go so far as to compare them to Final Fantasy, but theyd need a little more character development for that I think. Audio quality does not matter to me even one tiny bit, its all about the gameplay and plot. And even though there are some things Shadow Line is missing, like strategic bosses and weapon combos, it doesnt need all that complexity. Not every game needs to have customization, tons of weapons and items to collect and the most amazing combat system ever to be good, at least not in my opinion. And on top of that, Im sorry, but saying that Shadow Line isnt an RPG, or isnt a typical RPG is just flat o
 ut wrong. All a game needs to be an RPG is some kind of stat to raise. RPG games are all about building statistics, whether simple or complex. Even BK2 is still an RPG. I know people have started calling these action or adventure games with RPG elements, but to me theres no difference. An RPG is usually an adventure game anyway, and they range everything from very simple like interactive fiction games with combat systems, Dragon Warrior or the first Final Fantasy, to games with a lot of complexity like Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger. Even Final Fantasy VII isnt that complex, especially not in terms of combat. You have a few characters, a few minigames, a semi-realtime combat system and some things to collect, and of course shops. But the focus was definitely on the plot and character development, and its regarded as one of the greatest RPGs of all time. Im sure that the guys over at Galaxy Laboratory will get better in time and make even cooler games in the fut
 ure. But for now, Shadow Line is good enough for me, and for most others, I think.Haramir, I understood what you were saying, but I still disagree. I did forget about the soldiers, and probably some other things as well. But I guess my question is, what exactly would you do? The world is very small and the focus of the game is to stop Rudolph from destroying it. Im just having trouble picturing an online game where you play as a soldier that can be cut down easily by anyone with any kind of power, or a faerie from a race that doesnt seem to have any kind of magic and just seem to be small flying creatures. Itd be like trying to adapt entombed into an online game, only I think thatd actualy work better. Hey folks. Yeah Bladestorm, the game as it is can not, or at least should not have an online multiplayer version. But I can see a final result being like the game called Perfect World. Be reading the dialogs during the game I could imagine how would be to live as a simple person in that world without a magical sword that carries the fate of everything. Len for example is another good example of that. She could fight some monsters by herself without the need of the Lasthope. First of all, SR is more like story driven action game with very light RPG elements. Many of youy can argue this ofcourse, becauwse its RPG, well... Its not typical RPG.First of all, the most important part of the game is the story, if we can drop out the story line we have almost nothing really interesting or deep enough to play it again and again.RPG elements? only one, leveling your ONLY ONE sword, thats not much. Telling its complex RPG is really too much, seriously. FF VII or every FF i saw is typical RPG when we compares it. So, finally, this game is good for beating it for all secrets, difficulty levels, but nothing more. Not many items to collect, only one weapon and really SIMPLE fighting system. Multi player? well, totally bad idea which can ruin this project. Swamp style of multi player? no, it can do MORE than ruin this project, swamp is not good example how MP game should be like, [personal opinion]So, Its the best audio act
 ion game with RPG elements still, but ill never try to compare this game to mainstream one, sadly or not. I must see RPG with skill trees, great and complex fighting / blocking / dodging system, or turn based one and character creation / customisaton where Ill gain the abilities, skills and attributes.SR gave me few hours of great time but nothing more. Audio side of the game is simply okay, sounds could be much better, its not professional like effects of the envirommentals, reverbs, delays, theres nothing like that. Music? well, there are few great tracks, few bad quality tracks sounding like PSX OSTs. Voiceacting is good enough, ofcourse I can understand the cash problems and every microphone sounds differend with occasional noises and background hummings. The rest of the SFX plays just okay, ambiences are the best of the surroundings.Its hard to review the game because its trying to mix few game types, Action, story driven l

Going to have to disagree with you on that one. Most rpgs dont have to have complex fighting systems, what youre describing is an action rpg which is more like what this is. This is built along the lines of a zelda game, and while its not nearly as complex as that game is, the fighting system is not meant to be complex anyway, which is why I wouldnt describe it as an action game with rpg elements. This is a very good example of a jrpg that isnt in the same category as ff. But I agree with bladestorms review.. this game could easily have been a psx jrpg. I will agree about the music, that there are some more midi-sounding tracks. I agree Assault, there are 2 combat systems in RPG, a turn based combat system and more realistic. Shadow Line belongs to this second category. In addition, I express my opinion on the navigation system of Shadow Line, which I think is the best I have ever found, in particular using the field viewer.x Seal, I think you have to consider the fact that Shadow Line is a very long and rich history. Hey folks. Just to clean some things out. When I said about creating something online based on Shadow Rine, I never said that the game itself should add online content into it. I understand, agree and ask that the original game continue following this line. What I was trying to say is that the world created in the game has a nice potential to be used for something else, perhaps an online game set in there. Neither Im telling that everyone has to carry their own Lasthope. We do have normal people in the game to focus on, the soldiers in the Fermat Castle for example. This post may have some spoilers.I just dont see it. The entire premise for the game is that youre a hero summoned to the world to save it, and there dont seem to be many other warriors around. Once the crisis is averted, I get the impression from the ending credits that things just return to normal. Itd be sort of like trying to turn Final Fantasy VII into an online game. I think itd just lose all of its structure and devolve into mindless killing, with possible missions for certain types of characters like soldiers. Everything that makes Final Fantasy VII good would be gone.The only reason World of Warcraft works is because the games really took the time to flesh out a world and several class types within the strategy games so they could actually turn it into an RPG. Shadow Line hasnt done that at all. It has a comparitively small world for one thing, and the 4 main characters end up in another world at the end of the game,
  basically our world. There are brief mensions of things like the dragon priestess, who ends up being one of your characters, she had a sword before she ended up getting absorbed by Last Hope. But she was comparitively weak until she got that power, so probably wouldnt make much of a class type.On top of that theres the sword, Last Hope. Theres only one of them, so who would get it? The entire point of the game is to unlock Last Hopes powers so that you can slay the demons that have basically taken over the world. Even if you took a Soul Calibur style approach and say that the sword had been broken into shards at some later point in the worlds history and had people compete for them, then I think the game would just devolve into a giant PVP fest. And that doesnt sound like much fun to me.I think its best to just leave Shadow Line as is, a single-player action RPG with a great storyline. Dungeon Attack will be their attempt at m

You have to have used the dash ability if you played through the game all the way... theres one point where Elena tells you to stop in the dragon shrine and you cant cross the bridge over the lava pool without using it. Ambro, dash in english can mean the hyphen key, but it can also mean to move quickly, to run. Usually if you hear dash used in a game, it means that its an ability to allow you to run. You can use dash in two ways. You can either press the arrow key twice quickly, or you can hold down the arrow key and then press the action button, which is enter by default on the keyboard. Thanks Bladestorm, youve clarified me this doubt about the game. To overcome the lava I did so. I changed the character by choosing Lilia, and then I did the jump pressing twice quickly the arrow keys, for example up arrow. Ive used the actioh button when there were two stretches of lava separated by a small space. Thanks Bladestorm, youve clarified me this doubt about the game. To overcome the lava I did so. I changed the character by choosing Lilia, and then I did the jump pressing twice quickly the arrow keys, for example up arrow. Ive used the action button when there were two stretches of lava separated by a small space. While that would be nice, I dont see that being likely with this kind of jrpg. Those are usually meant to be played on your own... games like Zelda and Onimusha didnt incorporate multiplayer. Sorry for the double post, people! For anyone who hasnt figured out the bonus shop yet, this is a full translation and description of what each item in that menu does. A little clarification on what bonus points are. Bonus points are the points you get after clearing a game. I dont know exactly how theyre determined, and if the amount is fixed or changes depending on what you did during the game itself. Points are used in the bonus shop that you get when you load a cleared game save. this adds tons of value to the game for those who want to play it again, and makes me wish more than ever that the majority of audiogamers would give it a try, even with the translation processes and the like. Anyhow, here goes. I will not be translating the dialog after you choose the item, because that dialog is simply a description of what the purchase will do. Every menu item gives you the same choices. Confirm the purchase or cancel. The items appear with the name first, then th
 e amount of bonus points they cost, with the English translations in parentheses.所持BP:25105PT (current points)This simply displays how many points you have available to spend.所持金引継ぎ:2000PT (cary over available karen)This will cary over all the money you currently have.ステータスアイテム引継ぎ:2000PT (Cary over status items)This will cary over all the items that affect character status, such as staminites, attack stones, etc.剣レベル引継ぎ:2000PT (cary over sword level)this will cary over the sword level that you last had the Last Hope at.回復陣引継ぎ:2000PT (cary over blessed save points)This will cary over the status of your recovery charms, and which save points you used them on. So if you had 4 charms and used them on four points, those save points will still be blessed and grant you recovery, but you wont have any remaining charms to use.

For anyone stuck on the second to last dungeon:Spoilers.Make sure that you have explored everywhere. Pay very close attention to the navigational aids. There is a room on the third floor that has something like 5 different entrances and exits, and some very tight turns to get to them. You have to listen for when the wind tells you to turn, there are at least 3 different passages leading to the screen above that room from the screen just before it. Make sure youve obtained all of the treasure chests in that room. There is a trapped one that explodes, but I cant remember exactly which one, might be the center one. Theres also an exit off of the room to the left side of the large space that one of the doors leads to. You can then go left and back down into the room again to find another door that needs the light key to unlock.If youre stuck on the teleporters, keep this in mind. The first teleporter from the left transports you to the bott
 om of the screen. You can go straight down to enter another room where you can use the key of emptiness or whatever its called at the very bottom. The second transports you to the top, which is the last door of the dungeon you should go through. The third takes you across to the door on the far right.All you need to do to complete the dungeon is unlock the door of darkness, on the first floor, and the door of light on the third. The door of darkness is on the far bottom right corner of the left room on the first floor. The door of light, as mensioned above, is in the far left corner of the big room with multiple exits on the third floor. I think there are at least 12 keys in all to open all the doors, but it isnt so bad once you get used to it. Just dont give up and try to remember the layout of where youve been and which doors you havent unlocked yet.URL: http://forum.

Hmm, thats odd. I didnt need any key to get in. Possibly you need to clear up to a certain point in the game before you can get in.Seal, it means you earn double xp when you kill an enemy, not double your current XP. To carry over your xp, you want to select the option that says carry over your experience. It only costs 2000 points. Same applies to double carem.
