I actually fooled around with the stock drivers and got things working pretty well. I did not want to mess with secure boot without someone nerdy around to help me encase I messed up. LOL But I appreciate the work that people have done.

Re: realTech audio issues
Hello. I'm going to produce a youtube video demonstrating how to do this. I'm much better at audio recording things instead of writing them down. I'm sorry the driver thing did not work. It makes me want to buy older or custom built computers from now on.

I honestly hate how these manufacturers are messing up the sound drivers. It really drives me crazy. Everything is autogaining and whatnot. If you looked at that linked video above you will hear just how much it messes with eloquence and the intro to grizly gulch

If it's windows 10, even if you opt to keep nothing and do a fresh install, even from a windows image, you shouldn't have to worry about that, mostly.

Re: realTech audio issues
Sorry I can't offer any help, but this definitely sounds like a case of the dreaded inaccessible audio enhancement software that seems to come with every laptop nowadays. I'm guessing there's a single box you can uncheck that handles audio ducking.
