in Hong Knog. I'll check the BW dealer here as BW seem to have some

I have one...not much to say about it other than it works better than
your average computer surge protectors in terms of delivering
electricity to your components (surge protectors usually us MOVs, which

I can certainly appreciate your point of view. Having lived with an SB3
and DAC for a while, I felt the same way. It's just a personal thing: I
really dig the TP. doesn't mean others have to feel the same way.

ML Vantage, Lexicon DC-1, and Bryston Amp.
So far most of my lsiteing with the SB3 (COAX SPIDF input)has been good
when compared directly to my computer based sound card (M-audio
DIO-Optical SPIDF). I am using wirelss for the SB3 box. The wrieless
connectoin

I have a dedicated sound-video room with Martin Logan Vantage, Cinema i,
NHT dipoles, and NHT ceiling speakers. I have a DC-1 Lexicon, and A
Bryston SSC 3 stereo amp for the Vantages and and Outlaw 7500 for the
other 5 speakers.

If you're not using pre-made cables, I recommend tinning, i.e. coating
the wire ends in solder.
It won't corrode, it prevents individual strands from breaking or
shorting, and makes a stronger connection than bare wire, or even
typical screw-on terminals. I use tinned speaker wire for both sides

With regards to PS Audio, I'm not personally a fan of their stuff, but
recently had a chance to try out a few of their Noise Harvesters and
was pretty impressed with how well they worked. They're US$99 each (or
5 for $399, and they are additive, meaning that using more will do

See if you can find a dealer who will send you a Lavry for evaluation
or at least give you a fair return policy. Many people think it edges
out the Benchmark both in terms of smoothness and detail.

Do they have Radio Shack in the UK? I used to like those little Minimus
7 aluminum cabinet speakers. They'd probably work well with the Tripath
