I agree with Brian, Real-player is a lot less 'free' in the terms you're thinking than Flash is. You don't get "upgrade to plus" announcements every five minutes for starters in Flash! However also agree with Christopher, Flash isn't anywhere near as supported on other platforms as Adobe like to
