One thing that hasn't been discussed (if I've seen it right): FLAC isn't supported natively in SB1. It therefore has to be transcoded to WAV (double the bandwidth) or MP3 (poorer quality). I guess the first is the case. And wireless can't keep up with the bandwith needed. If you limit to

I want to run two instances of SlimServer on my server If you really want to run it on the same system, then I'd again recommend using VMWare (if you have the RAM). Easily emulates a second machine without the need to fiddle with server settings, firewall etc. -- Michael

It seems to work now in Firefox, so I suspect I've got some cache issue on the PDA. I've tried clearing cookies and browser files. kdf, I think there's a problem with the image containing a onClick event, instead of using a href. Is there a reason you didn't wrap the image in a a element?

My settings are to get the most recent 40 albums from the approx 4000 albums in my library. Takes about 20 seconds. 6800 songs, C3/1GHz, 25 albums to display: 2-3 seconds (player and web interface). There must something be wrong with your configuration. -- Michael

Now what's showing up is this weird long string of characters, not formatted with colons like all the other Mac IDs showing up in the same DHCP table. And the characters in ths string are not the same as the Mac ID without the colons. Did you reboot the router since the upgrade? -- Michael
