A very timely and interesting question. I've been downloading Old Time Radio shows, in MP3 format. They go onto the digital cartridge, beautifully. For some reason, the label information, (in this case, title of show, episode and date,) doesn't carry over, to the point that it is announced.

It is a special feature on some HP CD / DVD burners that can burn in a label onto the disk surface, including graphics. It uses a laser to create the text and graphics. It sounds like the disks look very professional. I do not know if special disks are required or not. I have never had one,
