Hi guys,
I've gotten some more done on this project. I've applied a second coat of
paint on the following the last couple of weeks.
The whole frame, 2 spring mounts, 2 shocks, Drive shaft, custom trailer
hitch, hitch extensions, traction bars, 4 traction bar mounts, the whole gas
tank, both gas

So is the shop cool enough or not?
I don't have any insulation installed in the shop at this time so I don't
know. It's like an attic in there running about 120 degrees in the
afternoon and the AC can't even make a dent in it. The teddybear cottage is
a different story. Note,
I think the list is getting my messages but I'm not getting anything back.
I've just been up on Yahoo looking at my status and it says I'm off line.
When ever I try to edit my status I get the page can't be displayed screen.
Can someone pleas reset me to on line?
Regards.

I sent this out this morning but it never got there so here it is again.
My apologies if it comes in twice

The list has been totally dead for two days. I guess everybody is out
trying to finish up those summer projects before fall arrives.

Hi, I have a Friend who I have told many times about this list. He has
a big generator similar to mine , however he for some reason has not
run it since just before Christmas last year. he estimates he has about
3 to 4 gallons of gas in it. he did put fuel stabilizer in it but it has

Thanks David. Just for general information these are about installing and
cleaning air conditioners. The first one concerns mainly central units
while the other two are about window units. Nothing about sizing a unit for
a particular space. I know this process involves some calculations but
Thanks so much for sending this. My old receiver just gave up the ghost, and I
need to buy a modern receiver, and thus all those new available ways to connect
devices. I actually have a quite new DVD deck.
What is the best place to buy these new types of cables at a good price? I
Got a big one that I have been working on for the last year. I guess all the
snow we got here in Denver didn't help last winter.

Well, it looks like I'm back. The funny thing is I don't think I missed any
messages. I got ray's AC chart. That's helpful and encouraging. Thanks a
lot Ray. But I suspect it's based on an average room with two outside
walls. My little buildings are likely to have a higher heat load
Well, I spent all day yesterday pretty much assembling 24 boxes for CDs. We
have open-faced cabinets for storing CDs, but somehow got these totally lame
trays as inserts. The trays are flexible, so every time you would pick one
up, the CDs would either shift around or more generally fall out.
Howdy Folks,
I received my talking tape measure from LS and S Group this week. It's the
kind which takes a double-A battery.
It appears to be a well-made tape measure... Easy to use and accurate when
validated against a regular tape measure. It even comes in a nice zippered
pouch with a belt
Hi Folks,
First, thanks to Ray for the great article below on windows. My question is
whether there is any particular difficulty with installing windows, which of
course requires removing the old ones.
My house is about 30 years old, and has regular aluminum frame windows. The
ones That
How much and what sort of insulation are you using?
Should be at least 4 inches in the walls and 6 in the ceiling of fiberglass, r
12 and r 20 respectively.
The big deal is to seal all air leaks through the building so the cold can't
get out or the hot get in. The insulation will take care of
Yes. That's the insulation I'm using. When I hang something heavy I'll hit
a stud. It's those little things that I want to hang with a single little
nail. I probably won't drive it in far enough to puncture the vapor
barrier.

Have you thought of planting some modest sized deciduous trees like maybe apple
trees which don't grow too high but which would help shade in the summer and
permit sun heat in the winter?
Adding an awning over the window if it receives direct sunshine also helps and
maybe over the door too.
From my experience, gasoline will last for at least a year before it goes bad
and in some cases it will even last longer than that if stored in a cool place
with the tank filled to the top to illiminate contact with air. Air is the
greatest factor that causes the gasoline to degrade. So if
Hi Tim,
You certainly can save a lot of money installing windows yourself. You can
probably also sell the old ones or reuse them for greenhousing or something
similar.
The connection to the house differs with the window. If only the frame is
aluminium and the main structure is wood they may

It is fully insulated walls and ceiling and we are running a one and a half

This system works great is sized to suit our office space which is 21

I hadn't thought of trees. My shop has no windows for security. The big
door faces north, something I'll likely regret in the winter but winters
are already mild in Kentucky and as the globe warms up are going to get
milder. The teddybear cottage does have a rather large window facing north
