The window replacements we bought a few years ago and had them installed are vinyl inside and out and are the three layers of glass and I think a argon gas inside one layer. Now what we have for this vinyl window which is white vinyl inside and out is a lifetime warranty or gaurentte

I get the first run in place then use the tar line on the shingle to place the next run. The biggest concern is not to line up the slots or breaks in the shingle with the row below. On the first row I overlap the end of the next shingle with the one I just nailed in place. Then keep working

Ed, Any saw you use will create a lot of heat. With that in mind, keep a light feed rate in place so the saw doesn't create extra friction. You should be able to use a circular saw too, as long as you have a fine tooth blade. For a 7 and a quarter inch blade I'd want something like a 40
