This year I voted, but last year the reason I chose not to vote wasn't that I didn't
care but simply that I didn't know the people involved and didn't want to f*** it up
for everyone else. I'm sure that lots of people are in this position this year, as the
manifesto's in themselves don't give

What I think he was trying to get at is that the Ultimate community, while small enough to try to encompass everyone's views, is also big
Another reason perhaps why voting has been poor this year is due to the lack
of candidates, particularly for the named positions on the board. I believe
I'm correct in saying that for the named positions, (secretary, chairman,
treasurer etc) there is only one candidate running. If your vote
