As you figure what you have to do for each device, create separate notepads for each device. Then you have it all there. I am starting again with my studies and am working on my speed. I can have HQ done in less than 5 minutes. Then it is just copy and paste. Even create a notepad for all of your partitions in CUCM. Yet I didn’t even get to many tasks at all, I would have needed another 2-3 hours to complete all tasks. I hear of candidates completing all tasks in 6-7 hours, which means I would need to become twice as fast as my last attempt. It almost sounds insurmountable. Do I need to take typing classes? It usually comes right back up once you run auto qos voip fr-atm on both sides. If it doesn't, wr mem and reboot both routers should fix it. In proctorlabs, I haven't had to reboot the routers in this situation. In GNS3, I have to reboot them every single time. What I think would work, is to use on this particular phone where you want to restrict the directories the service provisioning setting as External URL. If you do this, the IP Phone will try to use the URL configured under Enterprise parameters, by default: http://x.x.x.x:8080/ccmcip/xmldirectory.jsp. If we leave this URL configured and set the service provisioning to external, the directories will still show up. So in order to get the No service configured message, just delete the Directories URL from enterprise parameters (leave it blank). By default, the other IP Phones, will still continue using Service Provisioning Internal which means they will get the URLs from their configuration file. So, summary: 1. Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Ebook Lab 4: Campus QoS Task 3.1 - 25% bandwidth cap per queue
When you configure campus QoS, by using Auto QoS; an input queue will be created. This will prevent from the phone/trusted device from potentially abusing the EF queue when the traffic crosses the WAN. (Assuming you are not using NBAR to reclassify traffic sent across the WAN) From the QoS SRND: Shaped or Shared bandwidth weights can be assigned to a queue via the srr-queue bandwidth shape and srr-queue bandwidth share interface commands. Shaped mode weights override shared mode weights and use an inverse ratio (1/weight) to determine the shaping bandwidth for the queue. Furthermore, if shaped weights are set to 0, then the queue is operating in shared mode. For example, the following interface command srr-queue bandwidth shape 3 0 0 0 would shape Q1 to 1/3 of the available bandwidth and set all other queues to operate in sharing mode. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12.2_50_se/configuration/guide/swqos.html#wp1202482 If you configure a weight of 0, the corresponding queue operates in shared mode. The weight specified with the srr-queue bandwidth shape command is ignored, and the weights specified with the srr-queue bandwidth share interface configuration command for a queue come into effect. When configuring queues in the same queue-set for both shaping and sharing, make sure that you configure the lowest number queue for shaping. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12.2_50_se/configuration/guide/swqos.html#wp1200681 -Chase -- If winners never quit and quitters never win, then who coined the phrase, Quit while you’re still ahead.? However, the configuration of “4 4 4 4” means each queue is configured to not exceed 1/4 or 25% of the bandwidth. This para confuses me re queue and bandwidth:the PQ will get 100% of the queue, but I thought that the srr shape won't be able to limit Q1, since PQ trumps eveything else. Furthermore the service-policy is an input policy, what does this have to do with egress queueing? ___ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com Are you a CCNP or CCIE and looking for a job? Only to find out the dead 7961 has a bad display also. Does anyone know if a 7940/60 displays are compatible? They are really cheap on ebay while the 7941’s are still going for 50.00.
