Diane, Ospho is but one brand of acidic rust converter. Basically phosphoric
acid. It treats and converts rust to iron oxide. Nothing works on rust as
good as sand blasting, but sand blasting turns big panels like hoods, trunk
lids, fenders etc. in to wavy junk. Media blasting removes the paint but

the antifreeze and increasing the water will cool better. I run a
