Agree. If you race - even in fun races you should know the rules - especially those that are designed to prevent expensive accidents. On mark roundings I believe the hardest part is determining when and who entered the 3 boat length zone first and whether an overlap existed but even this gets

A good friend of mine was a yacht broker / importer back in the 70's or maybe before ( can't confirm as he is now deceased. He told me that the centerboard CCs at that time had a design problem and several centerboards fell off in Long Island Sound! Obviously Cc fixed that problem long ago!!
