Hi Rob
Good to see you the other day in Noank. We have the Yanmar 3GM with Sendur
fresh water conversion. Raw water inlet is ½ inch opening with no strainer
using proper barrel type seacock, straight hose connection to a screw on
plastic strainer then hose to engine. The strainer is

Good luck,

HI Edd
Our prior boat was a Galaxy 32 with a Mitsubishi 3 cylinder that blew a hole in
a piston which was traced to an improperly installed exhaust that allowed water
back to the cylinders. This was about 20 years ago. We went to a Beta (30??)
and were very pleased with the result – brand
We have original rod rigging after 33 years. Boat has been half in fresh
water and half in salt. Raced a lot and cruised as well. Inspect every
year with mast down, lightly grease turnbuckle threads so no galling,
Everything seems fine.

Hi Chuck
After 16 years have pretty much figured out how to tune the rig. The boat is
very sensitive a bunch of factors but once dialed in does very well. Will be
launching in 2 weeks and can provide some measurements, but a couple of basics
apply
1) Boat at rest, no tension on

We vote list and a great big thank you to Stu for keeping this going.
To make things easier we have OUTLOOK rule set so anything from list goes to

Our 34 has the original Yanmar 3GM which is working like a charm. How does one

Had the same problem with ours that I fixed last winter. There is a design

the balsa causing delamination.

Hi Jonathan
Try this - when you furl the genoa, take the leeward sheet forward so is
flush with the deck and out of the way of the spinnaker. When you gybe, do
same with other sheet. Genoa is now ready to go regardless of which tack
you are on. After spinnaker douse and pole forward end is on

enough to take off the engine panel to inspect

I find a light-medium 155 works well up to 18
Yup - sure can. They are an ingenious way to ensure good ventilation below.
The mast acts like a chimney especially on not days. The holes suck out
cabin air and it exits at the mast head. Air gets in to the cabin through
the main cabin hatch and engine vents. Never had a problem with musty

What you describe is exactly my plan to entirely replace the wiring to the
light over the sink. I am installing a new LED white / red fixture and will
run the wires outside the panel the short distance from the fixture through
the panel into the shelf area behind the sliding doors.
