I would look at RAM mounts.
My 35/3 has a 9 inch guard I believe.

David,
I have a 35/3 keel model. Hopefully someone with a c/b version will answer
those questions. The c/b version rates 6 seconds slower on the
Chesapeake. Conventional wisdom is that 5 foot is the max draft for the
Bahamas and ICW. Decks are cored, but if they are dry there are no
issues. A
OK guys, my suggestion is that we meet at the Fleet Reserve Club upper deck
around 4:00 Monday.

All,
Not sure if my message yesterday went through.
How about 4:00 Monday at the Fleet Reserve Club upper deck?

Bruno,
My Navtec has been rebuilt twice in just over 2 years. I could have bought
a new one for less than I have spent on it.
I would look at the Harken. Lewmar just sold off Navtec. Customer
service stinks!

My 2 cents:
I don't think the 33 is a split backstay. The cost to split it and install
new chain plates would probably exceed the cost of a hydraulic unit.
With a masthead rig I would want more power than you can get with a manual
adjuster.

Rick,
That was Danny.
There is a 34 listed on craiglist in Annapolis for only 14 or 15k. I have
never seen the boat.

All,
In honor of the Annapolis Boat Show APS is having a 15% off everything
sale. They also have a line sale in January. Their line selection and
pricing is hard to beat!
Defender and Mauri are also having boat show sales.

The control panel is probably worth more than the cylinder. Check eBay sold
items to see what they are worth.

spent a few minutes on the new 41 at the boat show The good- large cockpit,
boat appears solid. The bad- winch placement, cabin steps are too far
apart, cabin feels very small, aft quarterberths are open with no door for
privacy while cruising, door to head is in forward cabin. Better racer

Rod can be reheaded for about $2000. Should be done every ten years per
Navtec.

Possible day sail Saturday, then frostbiting out of West River Sunday.

Andrew was kind enough to give us a tour of his shop when we were in
Newport this summer. He makes gorgeous half-hull models of all kinds of
boats, and has a whole wall of them on display. Of course, the prettiest
ones are the C&C models!

Fwiw ATN was not at the Annapolis boat show this year. Always had a booth
in the past.
I've seen the climber used. The rope must be tight for it to work well. I
let others do the climbing.

Well done! Following seas are tough especially in the chessie chop.
Raced on s 40.7 shoal draft in West river. Boat rounds up like crazy in a
gust. More tender than my 35/3. Guessing the rudder is shorter to match
the keel.
