I found this doesnt happen if I restart atd immediately after booting the phone - only has to be done once before running gpe-calendar (or ffalarms) for the first time. Also see my similar answer to ffalarms also having problems with atd on shr. I would like a solution to the the gpe-alarm going

Opkg is an epic imbecile among package managers. I think it's complaining because the package file you're installing has a different MD5 hash than the one in the repos (no kidding?). I don't think there's a force override for this, you just have to install it manually. Run: ar x file.ipk and then
