the netscape plugin loader thingy is loading GV and xpdf and i don't want to
use them for PDF files.. i want to use the kde program.. if i remove the
plugger.so netscape plugin it works fine. at least with PDF..

8.1 with xfs is bad, unclean shutdown broke normal files.
but 8.2 seems good to me. i shutdown my pc unclean several
times a day, and only files *supposed to be broken* are broken.
eg: files that not written to disk may be broke.
but normal files won't broke under 8.2 in my case

are too ')' that cause a failed when you create the last index. Just removing
the last ')' on last line fix the problem.

when i run it is gives the output "Script not installed" so i downloaded the
rpm from checkinstalls webpage and it worked

Will the tags in VIM ever work again?
I'm not sure if this is Mandrake specific, but I cant remember any tag
problems in older versions of VIM I used pre-Mandrake.
The problem is that tag lookups fail sometimes. If I run ctags -r * in
some source dir, I usually can start vi -t something but when
the laptop that I was thinking about getting has a, and I quote from the
tech specs

Not sure if it would help to say if its supported or not.
