Specify authvchkpw as the only one in the configure line, and don't use
authdaemond. I experienced the same with courier-imap and sqwebmail.

This has to do with the permissions on /home/vpopmail/lib:
Chmod -R 755 /home/vpopmail/lib
..do your stuff..
Chmod 700 /home/vpopmail/lib

I have the courier-imap server and vpopmail running on my Linux-Box.
The SquirrelMail Web-Frontend is used as a mail-client.
Everything is working fine so far, but after a while it is not
possible to login anymore.
