Hopefully your monitor can take 800x600. Do this: Go into the XF86Config fle. (Make sure there is only ONE.) Search for 640. Delete EVERY line with it. Delete all lower resolutions too, i.e. 320x240, and so forth. Set your DefaultColorDepth to 16, I imagine a P-75 can handle that. (Prolly a

Errata (this works here!) Look if you got /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/hyphen/czhyph2e.tex, if so uncomment in the babel config file, like this: czech czhyph2e.tex fmtutil -all then, and it should work :) (you will prolly need that sty file too) Well, I did everything like you.

Isnt there a patch that fixes this? I think the problem is the version of the tulip driver that the 2.2.19 kernel has and you have to update the driver to use the newer tulip based cards.
