Another data point: I swapped my main laptop from V32 to V64 soon
after getting it in early 2008. Very happy with the result.
Thought I would give some feedback on my decision.
I decided to try Vista 64bit out since if it all goes wrong I still
have time to install XP or whatever. Well I have
Shudup shudup shudup! Bastid!!
I love my internet here in Japan . 100mbit (up and down) uncapped over
fiber optic and I can only remember having had one single outage in
the last 3 years (runs rock solid).
For an additional ~30 NZD/month I could upgrade to 1gbps connection,
but don't really
real estate.
Turns out the times I really needed the benefits didn't justify the
hassle of turning it on and/or taking up the desk space all the rest
of the time.

isnt there some issue with 64bit and Adobe acrobat reader?
I think not. In the past I've noticed occasional issues with it in
Firefox embedded mode, but not recently. And outside, no problems.

Very easy indeed (like IBX) as no extra layers to consider. Unlike

The URL works fine; I'll see what ensues.
As it turns out, the URL is for the NT version, and definitely
doesn't work for '95 (I tried g). Alas.
