apport-retracing was not able to create a stacktrace(usefull one because
of ?? are still there) and there is also not a reproducing procedure.
Both are mostly necessary.

On my Leveno Y580, when the display manager starts, the screen
brightness is set to the lowest possible level. On this laptop, it means
the backlight is totally off, so you get nothing on screen at all.

No, I'm in Precise and had fglrx-updates installed. Ran a dist-upgrade and now
it doesn't work.
Purged that and installed fglrx and the problem has gone away.
The older version of fglrx-updates added... I don't know but it reported

I created a script in /etc/init.d (I copied from an existing script actually),
at the stop part I inserted the command
nmcli nm enable false and at the start part true.
Then I created a symlink for it S60networkm in /etc/rc2...rc5.d, and also
K05networkm in /etc/rc0.d and rc6.d.

I just extracted the android-ndk-r8d and android-ndk-r8b using the
'Extract here' option on my Linux Mint 14, cinnamon DE and it left out
from extracting a few things.
Only when I did a tar -jxf did everything get extracted.

Upgraded from 12.04 to 12.10
All looked fine. No problems. Worked quite fast.
Tried to suspend from menu top right.
Did not suspend but rebooted.
Since that suspend command machine very very slow.
Command screen cannot be closed as soon as I click the X at left upper side.
