Can confirm this bug is still present in Ubuntu 16.10.
Seems like a pretty basic thing to implement, and it´s present on all
other operating systems. When will this be fixed? All it is is a
checkbox on Display Settings saying ¨Primary Monitor¨

Happens to me too (Ubuntu 16.10, updated from 16.04 whit worked fine. System is

I can use nautilus on my local PC but cannot acces my network devices/shares.

BTW, I see report is listing FF plugins, but it's not saying that I have

I've noticed this since sometime last year but as I'm thoroughly sick of
it, I've finally taken to reporting it.
The Firefox password autocomplete pop-up, the one that shows when you
double click a form field to select from a REMEMBERED password, is
sometimes DISPLACED.
Btw, it _is_ interacting with resolv.conf because my "Search domains" I
configured in the network connection are getting in there.

Installed 16.10. Without nvidia drivers the boot splash and password
prompt are fine. With nvidia drivers, the boot splash appears (unlike in
16.04), but it's not interactive. Removing "splash" and "quiet" from the
kernel command line again allows a normal text-only prompt and continued
boot.

I don't know if this is related, but the initrd looks broken, though the
system obviously boots fine (encrypted root). I tried running update-
initramfs, but it's the same:
$ file /boot/initrd.img-4.4.0-36-generic
/boot/initrd.img-4.4.0-36-generic: ASCII cpio archive (SVR4 with no CRC)
$ stat

Just got the nvidia driver update from 361 to 367. Upon reboot, the boot
splash (plymouth?) with the password prompt for the encrypted root is
missing.
The screen flashes dark purple and the switches to black with a blinking
cursor echoing anything typed. Ctrl-alt-del
I only had problem with gedit (3.18.3-0ubuntu4) run as administrator.
Installed bamfdaemon and libbamf3-2:amd64 both version

Still no menus when gedit is run as root.
