Issue
Hi guys,
just wanted to give a heads up on the status of this release. We've been
testing the current 1.3 code against some realistic workloads and here're
the issues that we found so far that need to be addressed before the first
RC.

FYI, I did the same for branch-1.3 builds. I've disabled hbase-1.3 and
hbase-1.3-IT jobs and instead created
https://builds.apache.org/job/HBase-1.3-JDK8 and
https://builds.apache.org/job/HBase-1.3-JDK7
This should work for now until we figure out how to move forward.
Thanks,

Hey guys,
I'm stabilizing branch-1.3 now again getting it ready for release (that was
delayed by integration tests investigations and during that period we
definitely had more changes going into it, so I'm re-stabilizing it again).
So I'd like to limit commits going in this branch to only (ideall
with the release.
I'm stabilizing and cleaning up the branch again for the release. Will send
more updates as it goes.

Lately the only things blocking release have been integration test issues.
First it was HBASE-16074 which took quit some time to address.
Now HBASE-16232 is the only thing blocking it

Anyone knows ASF Infra / ASF Board position on it? Why is ASF jira not
stable enough - is it matter or insufficient hardware, no people supporting
it or ...?
I probably missed some discussions around this matter in the past.
