I had the same issue. APE and CUE is not a good solution. I have
converted my APE files to high bitrate MP3, and have no more issues
. So my advice to you is to convert the APE file to another format,
that the Squeezebox can play natively (FLAC if the source is

Yep. Very. I have the same problems the original poster described
(although not quite as frequent) along with the typical almost in sync
but not quite problem.
On the bright side, someone is working on improving the sync on the

For what it's worth, using the network test plugin on the SB3 that
'stops', I can get up to 3000Kbps at an average 'quality' of 100% - it
starts dropping off at higher speeds, but it's still an average of
90% at 4000Kbps. Would have thought that was adequate.

determine whether or not you can still reproduce the problem.
If you can't reproduce it when the SB3 is wired, that suggests you are

First off, I think it was premature to uninstall the software.
Probably you should simply tried stopping and then restarting the
SlimServer service. That probably would have gotten things rolling

receiver... which doesn't have an antenna... so SB at home will play.

I need to limit the choices for the user of a squeezebox to one playlist
and would like to avoid this user to be able to search, browse or
whatever else can be done with the remote control which could drive him
away from this specific playlist

You can copy the relevant section in your slimserver.pref file. I don't
know if this qualifies as easy so much as quick. Someone was
talking about writing a plugin do do this for you, but as far as I know
this hasn't yet happened.

This definitely appears to be a bug in 6.5.2.
I found other people had this problem in past builds. See post #4 in
this thread, EXACT same symptoms I have, down to the rescan showing
albums fine, until the scan completely finished. Then the duplicates
show up.
It works perfectly on my 4+ year old Harmony 659 (pre-Logitech), so I
can't imagine it not working on any Harmony remote.
