If the wireless module is the culprit, consider buying something like the D-Link DWL-G820 wireless gaming adapter to connect your SB3 to your network via your ethernet port. This is what I do - not because my SB3 won't connect wirelessly but because the D-Link provides a more robust connection

Hmm, this only happens to me when I sync the 2nd SB3 with another one - if this was a network issue, I would have expected to have these issues when playing un-synced, that is, playing normally. But I don't, I can play quite sucessfully for hours on end un-synced on this SB3 (well, both actually)

For what it's worth, using the network test plugin on the SB3 that 'stops', I can get up to 3000Kbps at an average 'quality' of 100% - it starts dropping off at higher speeds, but it's still an average of 90% at 4000Kbps. Would have thought that was adequate. I'm just going to wait, see what

OK, this is weird. When I posted before that about 1/2 of the albums had duplicated tracks, that was when Slimserver was still rescanning my music library. Now that it's done, *every* album has each track duplicated. In the Slimserver web interface, the number of artists is correct. The

You can run SS on some pretty low-powered machines as long as they are dedicated to the task. And you don't use them for ripping. My SS box is an 800Mhz VIA EDEN Nano processor with 256MB memory and no disk running SlimCD (Damn Small Linux). All the music is on network storage. Streams to a pair

This definitely appears to be a bug in 6.5.2. I found other people had this problem in past builds. See post #4 in this thread, EXACT same symptoms I have, down to the rescan showing albums fine, until the scan completely finished. Then the duplicates show up.
