Try this: re-encode the flac files with -0 or --compression-level-0
option (i.e. Fastest compression).
That solved the problem of skipping/cracking playback of 24/96 files

Hi Folks, just got a s3 and very happy. One issue that I have noticed is
that choosing 'open squeeze centre' from the squeezebox systray icon in
windows fails- it complains and asks for a file association. Similarly,
clicking on the Internet shortcut in the squeezebox directory fails.

Hello,
Has anyone had this experience? I use my SB3 in my bedroom as a wakup
alarm. I turn it off in the morning when I go to work. When I get
home it is on again and playing. This does not happen every day.

With your hint, I have figured it out! Go to the interface tab then
type the format you want in the blank space at the bottom of the list.

Here's the story.
Sonos' initial setup is easier for the novice for wireless, but if you
use a wired connection that is a moot point.
Sound quality between the two units is basically equivalent.
We can play a different song to each player, or you can sync them all
together.

And it worked. Actually it is impossible to take a backup because the
directories under slimnas\var\squeezecenter\MySQL is accesseble.

The fact that the wav skips is indicative of at least some weakness in
your wireless setup (mine won't skip with all four SB3's running at
once). However, the flac should be easier on your wireless so I'm not
sure if that's the main problem. I would try to isolate it before you

this plugin regarding information presentation on those displays.
- create format-strings to your liking, e.g. ALBUM (YEAR)
- assign this format to your players display, e.g right transporter
display, middle row, small
Turn on Show Buffer Fullness mode to get a better view of the audio
buffer (Settings - Player - Now Playing Information - Show Buffer
Fullness). Try running using ethernet to rule out wireless problems.
To get some debug messages, enable player.source and
player.streaming.direct log settings.

I'm experiencing a lot of wireless network problems with the Duet
Controller.
The controller drops the network connection, won't reconnect and
becomes unresponsive for all menu-items that require data from the
network.
The icon at the bottom of the screen is mostly white with all three
