has been changed. Is that project just toast now?

same time, it also reduces the memory footprint, and hopefully the CPU
needs, which makes in more amenable to a low-powered machine, such as a
NAS. Seems like a win all-around to me.

enough sync that I couldn't notice any variation.
Perhaps the SB1 would drift if I gave it a really long song, but for
most Rock/Pop songs (3-5 minutes), no drift was perceptible.

Maybe uninspiring, but face it, it's pretty much what Sonos has been
selling, with a good deal of success, for a number of years now. The
unamplified version is a relatively new product. Might be useful just
to hold up against the competition.

what you told it to play, not to do strange manipulations of a playlist.

Sure. The scripts could easily be extended to any format, given that
you somebody's written the appropriate Perl modules to write the tags
to those formats. I've relied on other modules to handle those, namely
MP3::Tag and Audio::FLAC::Header.

Check that you have it in both 802.11b and 802.11g. I'm not sure what
the default mode is, but it is possible to make the WRT54g work only in
802.11g mode, in which case, the SB1, which only speaks 802.11b, won't
be able to connect at all.
