Buffering stops at ~50% then starts to play music. Buffer drops to 0%
then stops playing. Rebuffers up to ~50% starts to play agai, but drops
to 0% then repeats. Only over UMTS, works over WIFI. Strangly it works
when I set the phone to WIFI-access point and connects the Pad the phone
AP. I.e
I'd love for Transport Controls though in the notification space (some
other apps like Lux etc. seem to be able to put buttons in there, so i
guess it must be possible)...then it'd be perfect for me!

Hi,
I'm using this app on my Galaxy S3 and the phone vibrates in time to the

When I bought Squeeze Player my phone gave a message that there went
something wrong during installation. Now it doesn't play any music from
my squeezebox. How can I change this without buying Squeeze Player
again?
If you bought it from Google Play then if you uninstall squeezeplay it
will show as purchased and allow you to install again. This will also be
true if you sign into your Google account on another android device. I
have squeezeplay installed on 4 devices with a single purchase.

I've never seen a user ever having paid twice on the store.
I do see sometimes users trying to buy 4 times in a row (guess this is
downloading problems?), but all but one of these attemps are cancelled
automatically by Google.

The server can act as a proxy and buffers Radio streams at least when
you start syncing devices (as they all need the same offset).
Unsynced there is an option for each player under the audio settings.
'mp3 streaming method' which can be set to direct or proxied streaming.
Oh by the way : in the same settings you can activate bitrate limiting.
This will reduce the network load and maybe you can get happy with this
option and your Archos? It's a per player setting so does not affect the
others.
Just grabbed a copy. For $3-4 definitely worth it, even to try.
Also, I have to say that this is a realistic pricing model for this
kind of app/expansion, unlike some developers charging $20 just for a
plugin. (As my purchasing demonstrates!) :)

Well, the latest Android version at least claims to support USB Dacs/USB
audio.

Odd you should say that. I was playing Random Songs using
SqueezePlayer on my Nexus 7 yesterday and was annoyed at the different
volumes levels. So I did as I've outlined above, and this seemed to cure
SqueezePlayer right now does not support ReplayGain. So I'm wondering if
the server - maybe while transcoding ? - applies replay gain.
It's on my list of things to do, though it is unlikely that we'll see it

Do you already have an Android phone? You purchase on your account and
then the software is usable on any device you own with that Google
account on it. I bought the software on my Desire Z but have also

It fixes a problem with synchronization: when you synchronized another

vortexbox runs latest LMS (7.7.2). But on any computer, vortexbox or

- On Android 4.x devices, SqueezePlayer now prevents that the WiFi
throughput is throttled when the display is off. Buffering issues you

Well yes on Android any App can have background services running as long
as they want. Which is why SqueezePlayer stays alive even when silent
(but only when the device is connected to the mains)
Never would have thought though, that someone would use it as an alarm
clock.

Just tried squeezeplayer on my galaxy nexus jelly bean and with latency
haxx :) latency are now down to 11ms. Awesome :) At least as good as a
