I have been testing Slimserver on two different machines on the same network (one WinXP, the other Linux) and have been unable to find out how to get the Squeezebox to switch from one to the other without pulling out the power and setting up networking again. Any suggestions? Sean. P.S. Tried

^^^ Yeah, that's sort of where I am with it too. I can't hear any clipping, so I guess I'll forget about it. You can definitely hear it if the output is clipping though. -- Mike Anderson 'FREE RADICAL RADIO!' (http://nvo.com/cd) Hours of free radical MP3s.

There is something wrong with the behringer if it's clipping on a full-scale digital input. A PCM signal, by definition, has a fixed range of output values - you can't make it arbitrarily hot, like you can for an analog output. Try the built-in sine wave test (hold power to reset, then press 3

You can reset your squeezebox by holding the red power button down on the remote for 5+ seconds. That gets you to the setup/startup menu where you can choose which server to connect to. Its a work-around, but saves having to go round the back of the unit etc. -- Grahame
