This would make it less finger-friendly! I would prefer not to have a

Hi there
Mnyb is correct, all players can be setup via NET-UDAP, but only if
they have the correct (recent enough) fw. (SB3: = 98, TR = 46, SBR:
all, SBB = 19).
Since you don't have visual it will be difficult to confirm what fw is
on your SB3 but maybe the seller can tell you. If the fw is

I just bought a Channel Islands VDA-2/VAC-1 (external DAC + power

connecting to Squeezecenter. It was doing fine just minutes before

I've definitely also observed this phenomenon on my SB3. I swear it's
happened in SC versions older than 7.3.2, but I want to say that I
haven't seen it happen since I changed my router to a D-Link DIR-655
from a Linksys WRT54G. Not really knowing much about the issue, I think

The thing to do is take the DAC out of the loop completely. Unplug it
and tuck it under the sofa out of the way. Unplug and replug the SB. If
it works, it is the DAC or it's power supply causing the problem. You

SB is running wireless, connected to DAC via digital coax and connected

After experimenting some more I found conclusively that the VAC-1 is the

incidentally puts it more or less in between the SB and my router.
I was able to move the VAC-1 back and forth on my TV stand to get 100%
repeatable results.
