A solution to the TuneIn issue needs to avoid the legal problem they ran
into, namely not actually passing the stream through their system,
commercialising links etc, but simply linking to the station and
providing the URL. Careful reading of the judgement would be a good
idea.

that directory, not create it. Is it a routine designed to migrate from
6.x to 7.x?

on our web site gets the data in a format it can do Amazon searches
on.

Yes, the remote is fine. As I noted previously, In normal play the
brightness behaves fine - in fact the entire unit behaves correctly,
except for not displaying anything when switched off.
Resetting to factory settings has not changed it either.

OK, deleting the prefs file fixed it. It didn't do anything immediately,
BUT then pressing Brightness when the unit was off brought back the
display, which was not the case before.
This is thus fixed, but I do not know exactly why!

It enables you to capture all kinds of things you wouldn't otherwise

imagine it's a software capability, not a hardware one.
