Can you access any internet radio stations via Squeezebox Server? If not, have you tried stopping the Squeezebox server and then restarting it (alternatively rebooting your server)? What sometimes happens is that Squeezebox Server starts up before the box running it has an internet connection

Unlike the hardware players SOftsqueeze and Squeezeslave do not have WMA support. On Windows WMA transcoding support is standard and so software players can play WMA streams. On Linux and OSX you need additional app but this is not available on most ReadyNAS models. I would have expected the

It only supports the old mms transport protocol and not http. The mms protocol has been deprecated by Microsoft and even WMP12 will not play it. It has been stated many times that mms will not be supported. All the station broadcasting has to do is check a box on their software to support http.
