I have seen it do that if you resize the taskbar and dqsd is already
displayed.. but you should be able to move it around get it to snap
back to a single line.. I have had to drag it around a bit to get it to
resize, but you should be able to do it.. This is a windows thing..

Hmm I just noticed the same thing for the comx search on my win2k box.. There is
no scrollbar but even if there were, it doesnt appear you would be able to move
the move over to scroll anywhere as the popup is removed the instant the mouse
moves off of the search title..

It sounds like it is running an old comx.xml, or you have the URL
cached. This behavior is what you will get when the pattern matching
fails to find the string in the destination website.. (which is what
was happening after forbetter was removed from comics.com)..

image is served up through a content management system. If I extract
the URL of the image and attempt to fetch it directly, there is an error

The searches should really contain a description block complete with
usage examples.. otherwise the help menu and the web page descriptions
are empty.
Please consider adding a description block like the ones in the other
searches which contain the css class definitions..

ah nevermind.. I did get the attachment.. for some reason OE was messed up
and didnt show the attachment icon..
Most of the time the images were only resized a few pixels..
For some reason the Joy of Tech comic that was added uses a pic size that is
so small, it is basically unreadable on my machine..

I suspect this problem wont get much visibility until XP SP2 is actually
released.. I dont think there are too many people who have installed the
beta.

I added the "searches table of contents" utility to
dave's dqsd.net site - http://www.dqsd.net/tools/dqsdtoc/searchtoc.pl
It has an auto cvs update on searches so any new
searches should be automatically included in the table.
