I was able to work-em, when propagation peaked my way. I've found that I can press the K2's B button down just enough to shift to the xmit freq temporarily. And that way I can pop back and forth between A and B so I can follow along with the stations getting in. Pile-ups are stange animals.

If VFO B is not on the same band, you are correct. However, there are plenty of times that one might want to use cross mode split - it is quite common in VHF operation. You can avoid the VFO on the wrong band issue simply by setting CONFIG:VFO IND = No. Therefore again, making the VFOs

During the WPX RTTY contest this weekend I have noticed that my K3 will jump from AFSK A to PSK D. It happens whenever I change bands. The data sub-mode is stored per band. In addition if you use M0-M9 as quick band change memories, the data sub-mode is stored/recalled from those memories.

For whatever reason, they haven't been very loud here in Missouri. Charles, S9SS, is usually quite loud, and when Martti was there as S9BB he had big signals here. Maybe their vertical antenna setup isn't optimal for their location. However, if you can hear them it's not hard to work them now that

I think you'll find that Digital mode info is stored with the 'Band'. Also, as you get setup for a contest, go thru the bands you'll be using and select the mode, and press AB twice and it will set the freq and mode info on B same as A. Much easier when later you need to go 'split', this step will

Bill, Well, it is fortunate you are not down to 2 bands after a reset. The menu parameters that were restored to default are BFO, DDS, SIG, B30. B80, and ATU. If you had the Sidetone pitch and level set to anything other than the defaults, those need to be reset too. In other words, if
