I am trying to get set up for JT9 in Data A mode; I am not getting
enough drive from the sound card to adequately drive the K3.
I am wondering (but cannot figure out from the manual) how to achieve
this using either Line In or the rear mic jack when in Data A, and get
more gain, but not use
Somehow while loading rev 5.54 to my K3, it locked up.
It is hung up with the TX led flashing and the screen saying MCU LD.
What can I do to recover from this disaster?

Are you referring to the bandwidth green column? If so it just shows you the
width of your current filter setting.

I am running a KX3-PX3 set; on the PX3 set for the spectrum in top,
waterfall on bottom, I note the following oddity: The right side of the
spectrum display has a green tint to it.
What's up with that?
Is it normal; anyone else see it?
Thanks & 73 de Dave, W5SV
I have these MEDION2400 mAh batteries that I am using in my KX3; I have
2 set of them so I can be charging one set while operating with the other.
My question is, using my Powerex programmable charger, what settings
should I use for current and time?
Thanks in advance & 72 de Dave, W5SV
ntil it latches.
Check the connections at your power supply, they must be tight - if
you can move them at all, they are not tight. Also check the fuse and
fuseholder. The fuse must make tight contact with the fuseholder
contacts.

etup adding the PX3. First, I am *not* experiencing this with
my setup. Second, what are you doing (i.e. software controls, macros, etc.)
right *before* this happens? What version of F/W are you running on each?

I am running a KX3 into a KXPA100.
It all plays very nicely except for one issue; on a seemingly random
basis, it seems to lose communications between them in a big way. The
KX3 has (without my doing anything) reset the PA Mode to Off, and the
PWR to 5.0. When this happens, let's say I have
It does work great for me; probably depends on the rig control software you
are using; I use DXLabs Commander (and the rest of the suite).
