Hi Paul,
I’ve not used it with a radio yet, this was to communicate with a PC to

The KRC2 wasn’t responding at all hence the start of fault finding and the

I had some communication issues with my KRC2 in that it worked like a champ

resistor locations.
What radio where you using with the KRC2?

Maybe but I have to imagine that the recent past has been rough and tough for
Elecraft on many fronts.
I for one will be thrilled just to receive my K4 and happy to pay the list
price and whatever is the market shipping rate.

In
time, air particles do contaminate the water (usually in the form of algae)
and the system must be purged and refilled at annual intervals. If leakage
exceeds a predetermined amount, the amp faults and shuts down.

e K4 includes an embedded variant of the
RemoteRig -- as a means to accelerate product development. Although it's
probably too late for Elecraft to consider a real, internal WK chip (and
negotiate a deal with K1EL), that would have been my preferred method of
generating CW from a remote location.
Here are a few snaps of me and my KX2 up in the California Sierra Nevada
mountains last Saturday.
Never ceases to amaze me how functional the KX2 is.

Just a quick report on KXPA100 delivery. Ordered June 8, received July
20. A bit beyond initial estimates, but no problem. Businesses are
getting hammered right now. Thanks Elecraft folks!

Not sure what OS you are using but Windows might have reassigned the port you
were using and while the device was back at Elecraft to another PC peripheral.

Does your attenuator LED exhibit the same behavior? If so, check the menu LED
setting: they can be turned off to save battery.

this on the line-out during keying. No idea if it is
simple hardware or a DSP operation (easily fixed). Either way, the K4 is
impressive.

Jim, you beat me. Most firms would just blow you off as you're just another
consumer and all it means another radio outf the door,, they would not
care. Both Wayne and Eric listen to small nuggets of information that we
give them
