I have been looking for an opportunity to sing Don's praises, so I can't let
this thread go without saying something. I have never had the benefit of any
service work or personal advice from Don - unfortunately, my K2 kit went
together without any problems and has worked flawlessly ever since :
I'd like to not just to thank Don, but to praise him for his help on my KX1
and to both thank and praise him for his helpful comments on the elecraft
reflectors. When I see Don's name as the author of a post, it becomes a
"must-read" comment. Why? You always learn something when Don speaks.

I would also like to add my thanks. Don made the difference on both of my
Elecraft projects, a KX1 and a K2/10. His experience guided me through a
problem on my K2 and helped me fix it. He also did a great job aligning my
K2. I always get good audio from my signal reports.

I just had triple bypass surgery so I have put off building or upgrading any
radios for the present other than the one I have already committed to (it is
almost finished anyway). I may get back into it next year sometime. However I
still have a fully loaded K2/100 for sale and a K1 for sale
