What mode are you in... Try using the auto notch when you're in SSB
mode... The auto notch isn't there in CW mode because it can't really
tell the difference between a signal and a carrier with out making a lot
of assumptions that have high probability of being wrong...

I agree the main issue is the shift. If you are looking in 50Hz you can not
use shift, but you can use the CW offset. Musicians might recoil in horror
at a 25Hz error in their sidetone, but it is a reasonable fix for the

I have to sell my K3. It is 5 weeks old give or take. I put it on
the air June 10 of this year. Serial number is 0997 so it is just
