exactly like the original 1223 but they have no output filtering and
they have a different 12V connector. They do have a noise issue,

to keep in mind is that FL3 is only selected at a BW setting of 2.7 kHz or

does open the com port and try to interrogate the radio to find out what
firmware is installed, regardless of whether you use it for anything. The
problem may be related to using the VSPE virtual serial port software, since
I'm trying to really learn how to use the KSDP2 to it's full advantage
and I'm more than a little frustrated with the operators portion of the
manual. Is there a good tutorial available for the KDSP2?
