Hi Gary, The Chill Pill speakers are one handy choice for portable use with the KX3. They are very small and light, convenient to pack, self powered, and sound very good. Currently, they are shown at $33.50, so are not the cheapest, though they are very good quality.

A year or two ago I obtained a K3 subrx definition file SKIMMER. Clicking calls on the bandmap or call list and sends VFO B there. It only works if you have a subrx and are tapping the subrx IF. (I think) I don't know what will happen if you are in split w/o a subrx using VFOA IF output. I
