I've used my power miter saw to cut aluminum on many occasions.  I use a 14" carbide blade that's intended for wood.  I go slower than I'd cut wood.  I use a feed rate that produces a nice thin chip.  I'm sure it dulls the carbide faster than cutting wood, but it's not that bad.  As was noted in th
