So the conclusion is ...
"text.min: 1" increase the text infinitely even though relative is specified.
"text.max: 1" limit the text for relative which is specified.
In my case,

This is easy to solve.
Do not set text.min to 1. It will refuse ellipsis.
What you need here is to restrict text part's area by using another rect part.

Hi,
in a lot of files, we use calloc(), malloc(),
realloc(), ...
Wouldn't it be good to have stuffs like g_malloc()
which aborts when it cannot allocate memory ?
Because there are a lot of un-null-checked calls,
which could be problematic...

me into committing this.
I'm reverting it now.

Dear all,
I have a question about text part's min & max in edje.
If setting text part's min as 1, min value of this part is same as
text string length.
But I cannot stop to increase this part. If the text string is
infinite, the part increases infinitely.
I just want to increase the text part with

looks like it's the same issue as the one reported in ticket 1304, the only
difference is that in that ticket it's not

Sorry, appears I made a mistake in this email. It was not "Unused Variables"
I meant to be referring to, but rather "Set-but-unused". Apologies for the

No worries. It's not a major infraction:
E_Border *bd = e_border_focused_get();
Typically, we do not do this in E17 as it has the tendency to disguise
unused variables. You could declare and assign you're variable like that,
but if the variable is never used again in the code, then the compiler wil

this commit flips the parameter order for the "ok" callback in
e_entry_dialog_show() to be consistent with every other callback in efl. if
you have a module that is not in svn which uses this function, you MUST
adapt to this change or your module will crash.

ECORE_X_ATOM_E_ILLUME_ACCESS_ACTION_DOWN.
these atoms will be used to scroll(or slide) up or down. moreover it would
