One way to tell. Look at the build number in the "About Internet Explorer"
in the Apple menu. It's the number in parenthesis at the bottom left of the
window right after the version number. If they are the same, then they
should be identical.

Control-clicking will normally show you "All" available resolutions.
Apparently, on a 1400 Powerbook, there is only one available and
recommended. Lots of choices. g

a way to removed most of the monitor settings? 3/4's of mine simply aren't
available, yet are listed anyways. I've always used only 3 settings.

folder once a day, and keeps yesterday's backup just in case. Copy to
Script Editor, save as application in your Startup Items folder.
