Have you taken a look at Adobe's Lightroom? It's currently available
in beta form for free on Macs, and does a decent job with raw files.

One LE (which I will probably buy) and I have converted RAWs to JPEGs
and Tiff files (huge) within Capture One, imported into iPhoto and
printed, with varyin
I don't want this to sound pedantic, but my undersranding is that it isn't
possible to print or even view a RAW file.
The RAW file has no gamma adjustment, curve or colour interpolation applied.
Plus it is 12 bit.
When "viewing" a RAW file, one is actually looking at a ciff, tiff or jpeg

Picasa on PC side can do that, unless it's a file from 30D .. they
will probably update it soon

DPP has a number of profiling options in Tools > Preferences (Ctrl-K
in Win) including printer profiles. Any device you have installed
