Maybe one day the TMO will schism into two sects, the rationalists and the
 bhaktis,

Well yes, the schism has happened. Have a look at the 'oldest' FFL messages
using that 'oldest' button under messages, this stand-off with the President's
Office and meditators gets chronicled through out FFL right from the beginning.
It goes way back. In to the 1990's. True-believers vs. rank-and-file
meditation-practitioners.

This stand-off that the President's Office makes with meditators, keeping
them out of the high guru celebrations at January 12 and guru purnima in the
summer, goes back nearly 20 years. To the early 1990's.

It is interesting that the President's Office here is nursing this legacy
of theirs still, that they can't just host a meditator's celebration.

My Reincarnation has an appealing, poignantly casual everyday rhythm.
You're allowed to catch the need in Yeshi's voice as he narrates much of

Doug, I am really sorry you could not attend Maharishi's Birthday event in the
Dome. I think you hit upon the way for the Raja's to extricate themselves form
the problem they face (ie not letting people who have seen other saints in the
Dome, and yet wanting to include everyone in certain celebrations). Certain
events should be Meditator events - because meditators learned TM without being
told the other saints rule. SO everyone could attend, regardless.

So, the birthday celebrations could be meditator events, and open to everyone.
WIsh you could have gone.

Having said this, I think it is rather interesting that your next post is about
viewing Braco! Whether watching Braco online qualifies as seeing other

Ditto, Susan. Although I wouldn't want to endorse it, I
can sort of grasp the rationale for not letting folks
who might conceivably be a risk for using non-MMY
techniques to participate in program in the domes.

But MMY's birthday celebration is not a matter of doing
program, so what conceivable rationale could there be
for allowing in only TM-Sidhis practitioners, and only
those who have a dome badge at that? What's the perceived
risk for including others?

And gee whiz, wouldn't you think it would be considered
desirable to have maximum participation in an event that
presumably encourages and reinforces devotion to MMY?
Wouldn't having one's devotion to him refreshed by such
an event tend to reduce any impulse to see other saints?

This stand-off that the President's Office makes with meditators, keeping them
out of the high guru celebrations at January 12 and guru purnima in the summer,
goes back nearly 20 years. To the early 1990's.

seen other saints in the Dome, and yet wanting to include everyone in

because meditators learned TM without being told the other saints rule.
 SO everyone could attend, regardless.

So, the birthday celebrations could be meditator events, and open to

Oh ye of the peace less and suffering humanity!

My happiness desires to root out your suffering. Will you extend
your arm and allow me to lift you up from the mire of misery and
 peacelessness?

Emphasis on the words my and me? In 1955?

Come on, here is the call of peace and joy for you. Here is an
invitation, a cordial invitation for you all to come and enjoy
the blissful Grace and All Powerful Blessings of my Lord the
Great Swami Brahmanand Saraswati, the Great among the greats

As long as you don't ask anyone objective to verify it.

Feel not disappointment in life and shirk not from your
responsibilities in despair whatever are your circumstances,
rich or poor, if you are not in peace and if you want peace
and happiness, come on with faith and you will have it.

You, too, can earn a million dollars and use it to buy

Here is the message of hope for you. Here is the Divine call

Whatever we may choose to charge for it.

If you have enough money.

Wake up from the deep slumber of apathy and agony and enjoy

Reincarnation Bank was originally set up for Elliott Trevesk who has now

Reincarnation Bank still rocks Gibraltar

The name said it all. There was the Reincarnation Bank asking the
public to deposit their valuables with them - preferably cash - so that
when they returned after death they would have their assets waiting for
them. Who could possibly make such an offer? A Gibraltar-registered
company. And that's no joke, says Euromoney magazine.

opportunity to find new banks doing innovative and different things.

But we think we have found one bank with a unique offering that we
suspect the likes of Credit Suisse and HSBC, two of our big winners
this year, are unlikely to copy.

Reincarnation Bank is a Gibraltar-registered institution that enables
people who believe there is life on Earth after death to plan for their
future in a rather novel way.

Regarding dogs reincarnating. Can a dog come back in another life, and
will it come back to its current owner? According to the website, many
pet owners hope this is the case.

http://www.thedustof100dogs.com/

http://www.thedustof100dogs.com/ http://www.thedustof100dogs.com/

which follows a woman who incarnates 100 times as a dog before
reincarnating as a woman again in modern times. She remembers her
previous incarnations not only as a dog, but also as a pirate in the
1600s who buried her treasure in the Caribbean. The story weaves
between both womens worlds, as we wait to see if the treasure will be
found over 400 years later. The Dust of 100 Dogs, heroine had to wait
until she was old enough to travel by herself to get to the Caribbean,
and then get to the spot where she'd buried the goods. What if you
reincarnate into an impoverished part of the world, and at age five
remember, I've got me a big old hunking wad of cash in that
bank in Gibraltar how exactly would you get it?

Convert to TB!

Every Tibetan Buddhist (TB)can tell you:
As in this life, in the next you will have memories of previous
lives. One of these recollections will be of your arrangement with
Reincarnation Bank. Whatever version of the internet or data retrieval
mechanisms in use at the time of your return, you will renew your
contact with Reincarnation Bank and through regression you will recall
the details/instructions that you left at the time of making your
deposit. A custodian of Reincarnation Bank will open your letter
privately in your presence and will ask you to repeat the details
contained therein (whilst in regression). Once this has been
satisfactorily achieved, funds/property will be handed back to you and
the account closed.

Oh ye of the peace less and suffering humanity!

My happiness desires to root out your suffering. Will you extend your arm
and allow me to lift you up from the mire of misery and peacelessness?

Come on, here is the call of peace and joy for you. Here is an invitation, a
cordial invitation for you all to come and enjoy the blissful Grace and All

I was surfing around on my pc out in the studio and I remember his voice. Not
out loud or anything, but in my head, kind of like the subtle sight only it
works with all of the senses. I was surprised and then through the same process
of thought I began speaking with him. Nothing memorable, just more or less
checking out the phenomenon. It was the first time I had heard from him, didn't
really have my attention on it.

It is odd in a way interacting with saints and other beings celestially,
because the same rules of courtesy and respect apply as if you were meeting the
person in so-called real life. Same expectations and blending of personalities
for friendship and relationship.

I bet in about 10 yrs the tmo will be marketing some kind of program
to ensure an auspicious birth next time around. Most of us started
when the central teaching was that tm was all that was necessary and a
5 yr plan for CC was the timeframe. When that didn't work then other
techniques were added, and when we weren't levitating after a couple
yrs as predicted, then of course it was due to our impure western
bodies and so ayurved was added, and then when sidhas still kept
dying, then yagyas were needed to remove bad karmas, and then other
things leading up to the prime importance of which direction you faced
walking inside your home. As the bulk of tm baby boomers reach
retirement and the faithful's dreams of enlightenment remain in the
distant future, then they'll have to sell something for next time around.

[FairfieldLife] Re: Happy January 12th

2006-01-16 Thread Premanand Paul Mason
Since nature doesn't seem to be guided by morality, but by urge and
by force, what on earth does 'in accord with total Natural Law' mean?
It seems instead merely to be a euphemism meaning to agree with
whatever MMY is saying at any one time.

 Letter from Mother Divine lady:

 Dearest Friends of Mine,

Today in his traditional celebration of the new year, Maharishi
inaugurated
the year of Reconstruction of the Whole World to be Heaven on
Earth. Rajas
and Ministers at the Global Capital of the Global Country of World
Peace
were connect from the Brahmasthan of India. A glorious capital is
being
established there in the center of India to radiate an influence of
peace to
the whole world. Pictures of plans for this new Capital were
extremely
 inspiring and beautiful.

What was most inspiring to me was that Maharishi presided over the
celebration in person in the presence of Maharaja Raam, Rajas, and
Ministers. His never-ending dedication to the creation of a world
in accord
with total Natural Law is such a blessing for the world from the
deepest
 level.

Not content to enjoy that level on his own, he has structured a
global
administration to bring the knowledge of how to enjoy life in
enlightenment
to everyone on earth, so that peace, happiness and prosperity may
reign in
every country. This administration centers around knowledge, which
means
Veda. Veda is the Constitution of the Universe, the administering
 intelligence of Nature.

Mother Divine in the USA hoped to attend this celebration in
Vlodrop, but we
celebrated here in North Carolina as we prepare now to move to
Vedic City in
Iowa soon. We are really happy to be moving to Maharishi Stapathya
Ved
 buildings there.

If you contributed to my visit to Holland, I deeply appreciate your
support
and want you to know that the funds will be used now for our move
to Vedic
City. It is such a joy for me to see your dedication to
Maharishi's plans
for the blossoming of heaven for everyone on earth through groups
of Mother
 Divine around the globe.

Mother Divine's coherence and bliss will be an added engine to the
establishment of an ideal city in the USA, Vedic City. It is going
to be
very special to be there, and we are really looking forward to it.

Wishing you an especially wonderful New Year.

 Jai Guru Dev

 With deepest gratitude and bliss,

Either that or some kind of Bardo teaching borrowed
from the Tibetan in which one has one last chance
during the period just after one dies, before being
reincarnated. If it's a million bucks just to sit
in a different room from Maharishi and watch him on
closed-circuit TV, just *imagine* what they'll charge
for this one.

But I'd bet on less than ten years...more like four
or five.

I once saw a cartoon in which a guy was standing on a sidewalk looking at a

Doesn't this just say it all? Pictures of plans

Whatever else you can say about Maharishi, he always

Which in concept is not a bad thing. Whether its an earth, astral or
causal body birth (per Yogananda model / guru's direct testimony).

Its price and skimming that are the issue as usual with the TMO.

And beyond auspicious birth will be programs to promote dynastal
families of enlightened beings, teachers, scientists and administrators.

On all planes.

Again, not a bad thing. Can it be proved that that is not what MMY is
doing with Varmish and other families in India? (Of course not being
able to prove that this is not the case, does not indeed prove the
case.) Thus, skepticism, with an open mind to good intentions,
possibly optimistic, is appropriate --- well at least not delusional. :)

Bingo! I can imagine several things: yagyas for before you actually die,
yagyas for after
you die, a technique for doing as you die if you happen to be conscious, tapes
of special
chants to listen to as you age, ones to buy for the deathbed time, perhaps a
special
cremation ceremony, cremation providers and paying for the rights to have your
ashes
scattered somewhere special, paying for a TMO certified raja (or some newly
created TM
specialty career which costs tens of thousands of dollars to learn to do) to
read scriptures
at your service, a paving stone with your name on it somewhere sacred. We
could get
really creative on this one. What a market = and people might spend tons on
this knowing
how important the next life will be, and also knowing that they can't take
whatever
remians in the bank, either - so why not give it to the TMO.
