I am so sorry about HCT, Kerry -
Is there any option not to go to UK at this time??
As for immuno regulin, I don't think it requires hospitalization, but I
think it's something that need to be done at the vet since it's
administered via IV - that's the drawback because it will stress them
out -
You are like me we can be very
creative when coming to find space to accommodate more cats -

Thanks Tad. Can I call you on the phone? I need
your number. I have a few details we need to discuss, possibly I could come over
to your place and we can discuss things in person? The rescue in TN really is
stressing that I need to do a home visit anyways, just to be safe, hope you
don't
Thanks Chris, I will keep you in

Of the three cats removed, from what I recall her telling me over
the phone:
One is white and has very nasty damaged curled up and crusty ears with open
sores and scabs (possibly cancer, they are considering euthanasia)
Is this one of the FIV+ cats? He sounds like an FIV+ I helped

Kerry, looks like the postings of messages are not working - I am

I found his picture from the transport, he was a
very light himmy, August 02. Bad ears and eyes, sure did not survive under
Rehnee's lack of care. I'm sick.

Tonya I hear you, I have the same
problem its really not marking just peeing and I have a
several of them doing it they all know how to and used to use litter
box and they still do but they also pee on soft things
I cant leave any clothes or towels at any open area because they pee
That's a good idea Hideyo. My Queen Ursula is a sprayer and the feliway
does help with her, (as long as I remember to keep spraying the stuff).
I know what her problem is, she gets pissed, (literally), whenever, we,
her humble servants, displease her. Gypsy is the one who all out
urinates on
Hi, Nina, I am sorry it's probably not supposed to, but your message

with Bruce and you. I put clothes on to go to work and start sniffing

Ladies, I am in your cat pee club! It used to
be just Antonio marking and Elavil then Prozac helped ... didn't stop
altogether. Then after a couple of years why spend the money or give him
the drugs since he didn't stop and others started. Sam never peed outside
the box but I witnessed him
Hideyo,
I'm glad you got a chuckle out of our pee soaked lives. Bruce and I
laugh about it too, just not right away! Uugh, how miserable to be at
work all day smelling like cat pee. Were people keeping their distance
from you? You can usually tell an animal person by the fur on their
1) Such a horrible thing to happen at Angel Wings but thank goodness the cats and dogs are now out of there - and even the ones who get euthanased have got to be better off than they were suffering in there. Sanctuary's are supposed to be safe for the animals - at least they are safe now.
2)
I neglected to mention that one of Ursula's favorite spots is the
kitchen counter, also only in the middle of the night. Uugh, the
toaster and the stove though, that's much worse! At least the kitchen
counter cleans up easily, not that it makes much difference when I
forget and leave clean
Oh man NO! Not ringworm too! Are you scratching yet? I hope it's
something that can be treated with the topical and you don't have to
start with the dips. Blessings to that sweet Bramble. Thanks for
letting us know how he's doing.
Keep us posted,

Right on, Nina - I have removed everything from the kitchen counter - I
no longer have toasters, or bread box or anything because they keep
peeing on them -
I just feel better knowing that I am not alone in this, Nina...

Hi. I remembered today that you should look into Cushings Syndrome. I do
not know if cats get it, but dogs, horses, and humans do. It comes from too much
cortisone (which depo is a form of). Sometimes people develop it from
their bodies producing too much, and sometimes from having a
Yes, I think those of us in the 'pee club' can truly come out of the closet and not suffer alone any longer!!!
I'm really, really hoping that when I move some of this will stop. There will be more room for the cats and I will be able to put litterboxes in different places. I know a lot of my pee
I only have 2 that actually spray vertical surfaces. But even if I 'catch' them I can't stop them! How do you do that? They will also wiggle their tails and 'fake spray' sometimes too, so I never know (until it's too late) if they are really spraying or just faking it!

I don't know.. I think poop is easier to clean (unless they're sick!). I plan to screen in part of the deck as soon as I can possibly afford it when I move. Then I can put some litters out there as well. We can always hope I know the people at walmart must think I have some serious
If I catch them doing it I yell at them, but it's not like they can stop.. I have the ones who pick on each other too. Drives me crazy. I had to laugh about watching your visitors' things. I do that too. lol.

This is the list of cats that the vets are holding JUST FOR ME, and would
overwise already be DEAD. I need opinions people, do these sound treatable, and
should we try to get them transported? Tad? Do you have the time to nurse open
sores and that type of severe injury? I'm recommending
LOL, that's why Doobie got neutered. We were
sound asleep one night, and all of a sudden, it got warm and wet on our backs.
He had peed about a gallon of stinky tom cat pee on top of all of our covers, at
just about shoulder level, and it had soaked all the way through the comforter,
You guys STILL get visitors? Heck, I scared all
of those away a long time ago. They all are scared of the "crazy cat lady" now,
because every time someone would come over, I would open the door a tiny crack,
and then, if they were someone I wanted to allow inside, and would open the door
Ha! My cats run for cover if anyone shows up here. But if they stay very long and lay a coat down or a purse or some papers, or whatever, a few will show up soon enough to see if there's anything worth peeing on! Actually my positive, DD is my friendliest cat to strangers.

What is the dose, and why is shegetting it?
And why in her ears? You can actually give Benadryl orally to cats, the dosage
is 1MG per pound, so since a tablet is 25MG, you'd need to give a little less
than 1/2 a tablet to a 10 pound cat, or if you buy the capsules, you can
