Walmart is NOT the place to buy anything for your cat. Order through your vet, or use a good reputable online pet supply company. I really like http://drsfostersmith.com they deliver very quickly too. FosterSmith has MANY vitamin supplements, and if you click for "more info" it lists all of

Oh, the canned food thing... I have a bad feeling that since the only place you knew to buy vitamin supplements was Walmart, you may actually be feeding that stuff they call "cat food" that you can buy in Walmart or the grocery store. That stuff is NOT any good at all. Friskies, Cat Chow,

A far worse thing for dental health in cats is the fact that most people don't take their cats into the vet for annual tooth scaling. What makes wet food so bad is that people feed it, and then don't provide proper tooth care. Wet food alone is NOT the culprit. With dry food, it is less apt

Yes, I'm very overwhelmed right now. Adoptions are so low. it's not just me, it's nationally, adoption rates are way down right now. I'm working out a new program to connect cats with local seniors at NO cost to them. I'm going to place my cats in good indoor senior's homes and deliver weekly

For cats, it's a VERY tiny amount, like 1/8 teaspoon once a day. I didn't have Bones on it for very long, she did great, and really, never needed it, I think. I was thinking it might help, but she really bounced back fast on her own! She's doing awesome... she would LOVE a HOME with

I only test if the cat appears ill on intake. I DO test before adoption though, just to be able to tell the adopter for sure that I did test (and the result). The info they gave you was what's right for FIV though, not what's right for FELV. It appears this manager is not aware

,not sure about cats with immune problems like FELV and/or FIV. I can assure you it CAN work miracles in some cases, I have seen it myself, for dogs with flea dermatitis, and for arthritic horses. FosterSmith.com sells a few kinds labeled for use in cats. In fact, I used it on Bones for a while

Cats can develop heart murmurs JUST from the stress of being at the vet's office (one they don't actually have normally). Try to find a vet that can come to your home and examine her without the stress of a car ride and the vet's office. You might get some good support from the Handicats2
