One of my cats (FeLV-) was diagnosed with asthma about a year ago. The
symptoms for asthma and heartworm are similar, I guess, but the vet was
confident it was not heartworm (she did not test for that, but did a couple of
tests for asthma), and Horus responded beautifully to Flove
I don't know what part of the country you live in, but have been using year
round Revolution for years. We have mosquitos year round and one heartworm
can kill a cat.
There is also no cure once they get them. I rather like Revolution, it helps
with ear mites, roundworms, hookworms, fleas, etc.
