watching the FG dev list for a while now and figured the models here
would be closer, at least because the FDMs are being used in some
reputable projects.
A Katana model would be a great addition to the fleet.

parachutes for hang gliders in the 1980's.Hang gliders were the
first aircraft (that I know of) to have a full-airframe parachute. I think
it's kind of cool that the idea was developed for other aircraft.

If the simulation is accurate the delays are due to
the aircraft inertia and not control system delays. Hydraulic controls
don't have a humanly discernable amount of delay. Simulators have their
own delays too, the time it takes a signal to get through the circuit from the

You know, I've only just started using kate due to needing to edit xml

When I was a hang glider pilot we would live for
turbulence. It came with thermal lift. When you were struggling to
stay in tight ratty little thermals it also made the timepass much more
quickly. Hours would go by in minutes. There were a few times we
were blessed with magic
big dyke on the approach ;). I think the airport should
be at 1330', not 1730'.

technologies that made controlled flight possible over the years. The

i did a full install of Cygwin, all the packages, and although it installs
GLUI, i don't see any libs for GLUT.
PLIB and SimGear build fine, but FlightGear dies when compiling the test
suite, with undefined references to _glutInit.
