It didn't look like Modified FrameMaker Utilities Carla suggested would
work with my version of FrameMaker.
At Stuart's suggestion, I tried ResourceHacker and within minutes
managed to modify and test the dialog

quotes. Smart e-mails are another issue entirely g.

Is it just me? I don't see any search function on the archives page. Even if
I did, searching each month looks rather onerous.
So, I know this has been discussed before, but I've not had to deal with it
before. I'm playing detective and tracking down text inset files several
books for a
Smart Quotes is on but when I press ' or ", question marks (?) appear
in Gentium Basic and Minion Pro fonts, not quotes.
Gentium Basic was selected for testing because it is an Unicode
conforming font that supports every alphabet based on roman or
cyrillic glyphs, including accents. It is
FrameMaker 8.0 introduced the option of including multimedia and 3D files
(SWF/U3D) in the source FM files, that are then embedded in the PDF when
the FrameMaker file is saved as PDF. In my opinion, the new options are
minimalistic, and FrameMaker-to-Acrobat TimeSavers still provides many more
