Hi Rick, I don't have experience with Ukrainian, but I've worked with many other languages. You can change the sort order of a single entry by including sort information in brackets after the entry in the Marker dialog box (this is shown clearly in the online help). I assume what you are asking

After the import, before you try retagging, you may want to save to MIF and open that file in FM. It's pretty well documented that Word's hidden control characters often survive an import and can cause all kinds of "inreresting" and unexpected behavior. So I think that would be my starting point.
